KABU Boat Unit

Working in partnership with the Tashinga Initiative Trust, we have established the KABU Boat Unit — a dedicated team focused on reducing intensive netting pressure, safeguarding breeding tigerfish, and preventing illegal entry into the protected area by water.

Improving base infrastructure

At present, the APU operates without any permanent infrastructure. Our priority is to raise sufficient funds to establish three secure, fully serviced bases—complete with ablutions, dependable bathing and drinking water, and electric fencing

Procure 3 additional patrol vehicles plus 1 tractor-trailer unit to support remote patrol bases with drinking water in drums and other requirements.
